30 Days of Harry Potter: Classes

If you want to go to Hogwarts, the most important thing is, of course, the classes. Since Hogwarts is a school, there are many things for a witch or wizard to learn before they can step into the adult wizarding world. In this post, I’m going to be talking about some of the classes that I would like to take during my time at Hogwarts.

1. Care for Magical Creatures

Even if some people got injured in this class (*cough* Malfoy *cough*), I have no doubt that Hagrid would be the best teacher ever as he thought the mystics and wonders of magical creatures.

It would be great to learn about the creatures in the wizarding world and how they act and look. Meeting a Hippogriff would be a dream come true! Although I wouldn’t be too fond on other vicious creatures like mermaids, it would be so much fun to interact with these animals.

2. Potions

Yes, yes, I know. Potions is basically the least favourite class for any wizard because of Professor Snape, but seriously, mixing ingredients and making stuff would be such a fun class. It’s like glorified chemistry, except with more hands on experience! And not to mention, there are so many potions for so many things; they would really be helpful.

3. Defense Against the Dark Arts

How could I go to Hogwarts and not take DADA? DADA is probably the most popular class out of all and to be honest, it does sound pretty awesome. Learning spells and defenses are a wizard’s most important asset, so it is important to learn about these things.

Those are some of the classes I would take! What would you take if you went to Hogwarts?

I’m all for divination. Sitting around staring at tea leaves for a period sounds like fun.
Okay, I’d probably enjoy potions (not the teacher, just the act of mixing stuff together and seeing what happens – kind of like cooking).
