Kimi ga Inakya Dame tte Itte was a really cute read. With only a few chapters, it got straight to the point and didn’t have too many extras, like the super long mangas, but was very simple.

It’s one of those childhood romance stories, where the girl is in love with the guy, but the guy doesn’t know it, etc… There is a lot of back and forth between the characters and there were some parts where I felt they were awkward and rushed.

The main guy character is a bit of an airhead, and the main girl doesn’t seem to know what she wants. And there were also a lot of loose ends and unexplained things that I felt were too ambiguous, but that comes with all short manga.

All in all, I felt the characters were okay, and the plot was decent as well. The art was great, and there were a lot of emotions mixed into this read. I’d definitely recommend this to anyone who wants a short romance manga read.

General Overview (No Spoilers)

This was actually a very decent manga. I’m a sucker for shoujou, romance manga and180.jpg love to read basically any time of shoujou manga. And 16 Life wasn’t bad. It was short, sweet, and although it was a little bit awkward at times, it was still a really good read. One thing I wished could have been better was the main girl character. She was really weak at times and I wanted her to have more confidence in herself.

I wasn’t a big fan of the art, but it did its job and showed the characters well enough. The story mainly focused on the two main characters, but there were some side characters that had a role in this. Their stories weren’t told as much, and there was a part where things weren’t really resolved clearly, and I had wanted to know what had happened there, but the manga skipped it completely.
